When it comes to digital drawing, money always gets in the way. For most people, artist namely, the best way to draw digitaly, or sculpt in Zbrush, is with a Wacom Cintiq and having the latest versoin of Photoshop. But the price tags on those things is just too high for someone just starting out. But I have found a work around that can help out for cheap if you have an iPad.

It is called Procreate from Savage Interactive and this app is just amazing. It is the drawing app for anyone who owns an iPad, infact it is the reason why I bought one. This app has everything you need to get started.
The interface is perfect, you are able to create a canvas of any size you want or from the premade ones as high as 4K ultra. From there you have everything you need when drawing, there are three main tool that you will use. Brushes are boundless, you can use the original brushes that come with the app or make your own. You have full controll over them, you can even use them with the smudge and earase tool and there are plenty of one you can download online at the forums.
Next is the layer tool. Just like in Photoshop you have layers you can work with on any project, but depending on the size of the project you are limited as to the number of layer. And with the lastest update, the color swatch has improved a great deal. You can now save custom sets of color for later and drop them on to your project like the paint can in MSpaint.
As for more tools you can crop and transfomr, import images, and much more. For exporting, you can export your work as a jpeg, png, psd, and a pro file format for use later. A new feature they added was a video exporter that sends your work out as a speed paint. If you would like to learn more, head over to thier site for more info or thier YouTube channel at SavageInteractive. But as for my rating.
I give it a 4/5.
Pros
-Great interface
-Near limitless customizations
-An expanding range of tool to use
-Great support
-Great price at only $5.99
Cons
-Crashes on older iPads
-iPad only, no android
-Small limts when working
However, I recomend that you buy a style and screen protector for your iPad before you get the app.
